Preschool (Ages 2–4)
Our Preschool program is designed to support children as they begin their first experiences in a learning community beyond home. This is a time when children are discovering who they are, learning how to be with others, and beginning to use language, play, and routine to make sense of the world. Our role is to gently guide that growth in a warm, nurturing, and responsive environment where children feel safe, supported, and understood.
Through art, movement, outdoor exploration, stories, music, and simple daily rhythms, children build early communication skills, emotional awareness, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. Teachers focus on helping children find their voices, form friendships, and grow in independence — whether that’s learning to share a toy, ask for help, wash their hands, or take pride in something they’ve created.
We place strong emphasis on social-emotional development, kindness, patience, and connection. Children learn how to take turns, use words to express their needs, care for their space, and show consideration for others — all while building confidence in themselves and joy in what they can do.
Our small class sizes and 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio allow us to truly know each child, meet them where they are, and support their individual growth, so strong, trusting relationships can form, and each child can grow with confidence.
At the same time, this program intentionally builds the early cognitive, language, and self-regulation skills that support later academic success, while nurturing confidence, curiosity, and emotional security — helping children transition naturally and comfortably into our next level, Pre-K.
Placement is based on both age and developmental readiness. This allows us to thoughtfully support each child and, when appropriate, offer earlier or more advanced placement so every child is appropriately challenged and supported — never held back.
